Leslieville Lemon Festival- Saturday June 21, noon – 11pm
When life gives you lemons, or in this case 6 weeks of painful construction, what do you do? Make lemonade of course! On Saturday June 21, the Leslieville BIA is hosting Lemonfest from noon until 11pm on Queen street east between Booth and Vancouver Avenues. There will be music, sidewalk specials, a barbecue, and a screening of the Movie The Nut Job in Leslie Grove park. What could be better on the first day of summer than a nice glass of lemonade? Luckily the “lemons” should be going away soon, with the intersection slated to open again on Sunday. See the Leslieville BIA website for more information.
