February 3, 7pm – Ward 30 Bikes meeting

February 4, 6-9pm – Winter Uber-SWAP
Uber-SWAP is a women’s clothing exchange event that has nothing to do with that taxi app. The event is put on by Leslieville’s Nathalie-Roze & Co on Wednesday from 6 to 9pm at The Jam Factory at 2 Matilda Street. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Participants are asked to contribute at least ten quality garments to swap. Any left over items will be donated to Yonge Street Mission’s Double-Take Thrift Shop or CAMH’s Clothing Bank. For more information see the Facebook event page
February 6, 6:30-8:30pm – Withrow Park neighbourhood skating party
On Friday February 6th the friends of Withrow Park are hosting a neighbourhood skating party. The event takes place from 6:30-8:30pm at the ice rink. Bring your own mug to enjoy some hot chocolate! For more information see http://friendsofwithrowpark.blogspot.ca
February 9, 7-9pm – Connecting Riverdale to the Lake
On Monday February 9, Ward 30 Bikes and the South Riverdale Community Health Centre are hosting students from Ryerson’s School of Urban and Regional Planning. The students have prepared a study to investigate how cycling infrastructure may be used to improve connections to the waterfront. After the presentation there will be a discussion led by Ward 30 Bikes. This event takes place at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre.
