Warm Night in Withrow Park

Tuesday was a warm day reaching a high of 30° Celsius and Withrow park was as active as ever. There were people out playing baseball, ball hockey, soccer and tennis, as well as fitness groups, hula hoopers, dog owners and people just relaxing and enjoying the summer weather. For Shakespeare fans there was a production of the Tempest put on by Driftwood theatre. The children’s playground at the north end of the park hasn’t officially been re-opened yet but looks mostly complete and was already being used.

This Saturday July 26th the playground and wading pool will officially re-open with a small celebration from 10:30 – 11:30. Also on Saturday there is the great Withrow Park Farmers’ Market from 9am until 1pm .
